We are a local independent business passionate about getting children active outdoors. 

We offer specialist rugby classes to boys and girls aged 2 to 6 years. 

We believe that being active outdoors from a young age helps to develop healthier, happier children. Come and join us today!

📍Where do our classes run?

We currently have three venues across Twickenham, St Margarets and Teddington. 

From September 2022 we are opening a brand new Hampton Wick venue in partnership with Harlequin Amateurs 

Twickenham & St Margarets run all year round. Teddington & Hampton Wick will run in line with the rugby season September - April.

Our boys (age 3 and 5) are loving their rugby classes with Coach Nicole and the team at Marble Hill Park. They wake up on a weekend and ask if it's a rugby day and can't wait to put their boots on. Brilliantly organised, great mix of skills and games whilst all under very covid safe conditions. Highly recommend!


About Half Backs

We believe that the best way to play sport and be physically active is with a smile on our faces having fun. The only way children are going to continue playing, create healthy habits for life and develop their skills is if they enjoy the games.

Working in teams and as an individual allows your child to develop their personal skills. We create an environment that enables both fun and learning through a structured rugby based play program designed by qualified coaches and teachers.

We respect everyone involved in the Half Backs session, children, parents and carers and the other coaches. We nurture a safe and welcoming environment for all.

The fundamental movements taught at Half Backs will help develop your child both physically and mentally.
